Our Nature is a 3D project-in-progress. The maquettes on the table are all printed with PLA, Polylactic Acid, which is made with cornstarch or sugar cane. They are at various stages of development undergoing consideration in terms of assemblage, colour, position, size, material, presentation and context and eventually to be made at scale. They each begin as captured scans or images of natural or discarded ‘made object/s’. The discarded physical objects are digitally remade into something new; something created through interpretation/collaboration with the machine.
